叉车钥匙是有bug吗?还是一把钥匙只能开一个叉车,为啥找不到其他叉车钥匙。
Are there any plans to improve optimization? Honestly, it's terrible now, but I hope it will improve over time.
What is your PC configuration?
The game was tested on a GTX1050Ti 4GB, with an i3 processor and 8GB of RAM and the game ran smoothly at 1080p with normal settings of 40-50 FPS.
Well, it's sad to say, but I have a laptop with 6 GB RAM and a Vega graphics card built into the processor for the AMD 2000/3000 series of processors. By the way, I played around, stopped at the moment when we were just meeting with electricity, and after that I couldn't load the save due to an error that my computer didn't meet the minimum requirements. But I played in 20-25 frames at minimum settings, including minimum resolution.
The UE engine itself is very demanding on PC resources, so it's not surprising that you have low FPS, as it is advisable to run 3D games on a dedicated graphics card.
Try to run the game with DirectX 11:
1. Create shortcut of the ParasiteInside.exe.
2. Right-click the shortcut, select Properties, and in the Target field, add -dx11 at the end of the path.
3. Apply the changes and try launching the game using this shortcut.
Later, I will add the option to scale the resolution of the screen, which may help to run the game on very low-end PCs.
Thanks for adding the game pad support!! I was waiting just for that. The game runs even better now. Looking forward to the future updates :)
Why does it show the main character's skin constantly flashing white? It's the 3rd time i download the game and this issue persists. Rather annoying. Great game otherwise.
P.S: Umm, my message came off way more rude than i thought, my apologies. I *did* have to reinstall twice to "find" a way around the bug, and uuh... i think i did. lol
It comes and goes, but apparently it goes away after a few shower scenes (could be something else entirely, ofc).
Other than this, game rocks hard! DEAD SPACE atmosphere with ALIEN suspense goin' on full time, lawv it. I think i missed the "Amelia's Toy" scene, but just for future references- where exactly does it happen?
Thank you for the quality game, keep it up!!
How many outfits are there currently? And how many implants?
I have some points for optimisation:
First, the C-Scanner is a terrible lamp. Currently the character hold it to the side, so only the left wall gets really lighted. If the character would hold the left hand in front of the body it would be better.
Its hard to navigate on the ship, cause having the maps not really helps. I would appreciate if we see our position on the map. Also cartography sections without a map terminal would help. And last, it would be nice if the maps could be connected. For example if you click on an elevator, it automatically switch to the next map. Same if you click the entrance to another sector, it changes the map to the next location.
Also a nice idea would be a quick travel option between save rooms, if the way between them is clear.
Could you add a feature to detect the collection cards? Like, if you haven't them, they have an empty frame in the gallery where at least the card name and sector where its located is written. And if a journal message points out a location, it will be displayed there too.
Last point, the pathfinder module is useless since it shows the target directly, but that doesn't help since we never walk in a straight line. And the Echo hearing module is hard to see, maybe you could increase the size or brightness of the highlighting. Also equipping more than two modules would be helpful.
I hope some of the points inspire you, but even if not, you made a great game. Keep going.
Question: Are there anything that's missable?
I have gotten back to the Gym in Sector-01 after hitting the 'end of current content' trigger, so doesn't feel that way...
but at the same point I feel like I've scrounged everywhere and am still missing (at least) two collectibles.
Am I missing anything aside from the cards?
Cards Found:
You can collect all the collectible cards in the game. Here is a video to help you:
Got the last two cards, thanks.
Missed one in Section 1 and one in Section 8.
Feel kinda dumb for missing the one in Section 1, though the one in Section 8 was pretty well hidden.
I have a few ideas, add a "activeness" to areas around the map which goes up sometimes caused by either leaving the area or an event and can be reduced by clearing out the monsters that spawn or through a side quest close a vent or destroy spore pods.
Maybe a distraction and stealth mechanic where enemy's chase you to the place they saw you then head in that direction if they cant see you and have ways to lure enemy's away or even distract large enemy's with other female crew trapped on the ship.
also maybe a shop where you buy ammo and stuff but get money through saving girls through out the ship and getting them to safe spots, maybe you could even hire girls to help "fight" or help to interactions that might require two people, maybe have it so you need to give the girls their own ammo to fight with or they can just act as a distraction and if they get too contaminated they become an enemy; if they run out of health then you have to carry them making it hard to defend yourself but they could be left on the floor as a distraction if they aren't fully contaminated but the enemy's to prioritize the player if the NPC is down
Thanks for the ideas, it was interesting to read them. Some ideas, unfortunately, don't really fit the setting of the game. But I added some of them to my list of ideas.
Take what ideas you think work and go with the direction you think is best, you've made a good game so far and you know best what adds to the setting and what might cause problems so do what you think is best. I am excited for what the game will become.
this game have so much potential can't wait to see more
Thank you for your feedback. I would be very grateful if you could rate the game.
How do i download this?
The “Download Now” button should already appear, the file is already on the itch server.
Ah the button didn't show up before for some reason thanks
